Mullet Bottarga


The Mediterranean’s caviar! Mullett bottarga is salted, pressed and air dried mullet roe produced using a method brought to Sardinia by the Egyptians 3000 years ago.

Bottarga was the first product Stefano Vallebona sold to many of London’s top culinary establishments from his suitcase in 1997: The River Cafe, Villandry, Fortnum & Mason Moro and Harrods to name a few.

Today our Bottarga is still used by many of the most prolific chefs around the world and has been featured in numerous articles and recipes. We are proud to still sell Bottarga that we consider to be the highest quality on the market.
