This beautiful product is made using Nutritious semi dried kombu from Hokkaido and is then simmered in soy sauce and mirin and then cut to shape. The flavour and aroma mimic the sea with a lovely combination of salty and sweet.

Can be used simply as an incredible topping for steamed rice. The real umami bomb it produces means it can be used with almost anything to give the dish an extra layer of complexity. We love to use it when stir frying vegetables, a topping for eggs or miso soup.
