Another successful pop up went under way last Friday (23rd) with our Tuscan guest speaker and friend Giamcomo and a collaboration from Davide, who has his own pop up on 13th June.
They cooked us a selection of delicious nibbles as Stefano described Giacomo's works and inspiration. (Turns out there is much more to the delicious Tuscan sausage than we thought!!).
The menu encompassed a varied selection from chicken liver pate and Tuscan tomato bruschettas (prepared by Piero our chef) to nudi in a Tuscan tomato sauce and finally thinly sliced and flash fried Florentine steak with crisp rocket and truffle salt. Needless to say there was no leftovers!
All this was washed down by a great selection of Italian wines and followed up by copious platters of beautiful cured meats, fregola, cheese platters and even a few chocolate truffles!
