Last Friday 20th was Vallebona's first evening pop up of the season! We served 30 people form a menu designed by Stefano and a local chef and friend Bart.
The menu was met with huge enthusiasm as guests were invited to share the copious dishes of freshly prepared antipasti in true Italian style followed by the delicate porcini risotto famous throughout Italy.
~ Antipasti ~
Black & Green Olives in Sardinian Olive oil.
A selection Of Crips Breads.
Italian meats platter; copatta, salame finocchiona & lamb salame.
Bresaola carpaccio with parmesan shavings and balsamic.
Sweet blood oranges, raw fennel, rocket & mint salad with a mustard vinaigrette.
Crisp asparagus with fresh Buratta cheese.
String beans with sliced potato, Taleggio cheese and a truffle sauce.
~ Main ~
Porchetta Al Forno (moist oven roast porchetta) with a porcini risotto.
Italian cheese Board;
Accompanied by mosto d’uva & dried fruit & nuts.
