Hailing from the cold clean seas off Hokkaido, the northern most island of Japan, mineral rich kombu seaweed are produced by our supplier, locally known as the ‘kombu mafia’ – no-one knows his seaweed more!

Semi dried nutritious wild kombu is simply combined with high quality soy sauce to create an umami explosion in your mouth.

Traditionally in Japan, this has been used as an accompaniment with a bowl of rice. However, this can be used as a vegan alternative to anchovies, so why not sprinkle a little of this into your salad dressing or soup.
