A method brought to Sardinia by the Egyptians 3000 years ago mullet bottarga is salted pressed and air dried mullet roe. Just grate a small amount into pasta with garlic and olive oil- Mediterranean caviar! *This product is grated and comes ready to use in a small glass jar, rather than a piece in a vacuum pack bag as featured in the image. 35g approx.
