Saras Del Fen

This product comes from Piedmont. The Custom of wrapping the cheeses in hay arose from the need to transport ricotta from mountain pastures without damaging them or exposing them to attack by insects. This cheese produces more than 1000 metres above sea level. It is mild but has got lots of complexity after taste. 200g approx Limited seasonal availability.
