Like our cheeses, our staff are hand picked for their dedication and passion, and especially for having something a little different from the rest of the crowd. Vallebona is run by Stefano and Naoko Vallebona. Stefano had the Vallebona business in his blood and decided to bring Vallebona speciality to the UK just over 10 years ago. In 2003 Stefano married Naoko Makino. Although from Japan, Naoko had a background working for an Interior Design company in London for 10 years. Together they gave new focus to the style and presentation of the traditional and rustic produce. Vallebona products are not only the best available on the market but they also have their own unique, contemporary and quirky style, thanks to the foresight and creative nature of this partnership. Vallebona has continued from strength to strength, producing the finest Italian Gourmet tempered and evolved to British culinary tastes. The style of the products is suited to their client base. All of this is presented to the UK market with unrivalled service, free consultation and idea sharing.
In 2006 the new boss was born Rocco Vallebona who is in training as a salame man as we speak! In the mean time we have a number of other key members who help the Vallebona machine tick along. Our staff in the warehouse are all highly experienced in the handling of fresh products and have the passion and experience you would expect of a company of this calibre. As the company grows so does it's desire to continue to employ passionate people in the pursuit of perfect Italian Gourmet.
