Simple and delicious nibbles to round off your easy meal. The almond cantucci are double baked so they are quite hard and able to absorb the chilled sweet vin santo into which you should ideally dip them! All the other cantucci are crumbly and a perfect accompaniment with coffee.
The nougat are exceptional, made only with local Sardinian honey, egg white, roasted almonds and lemon juice. Cut them into rough chunks and let everyone help themselves, maybe in tandem with a plate of cantucci.
